Mathletics

This term Mrs Pearson & Mr Sweeney gave us the treat of having mathletics.Mathletics is an online math website where you can go on activities, go on an animated math dictionary and play live against students around the world.

In mathletics you also get gold bars which means you have got 100% in an activity. I have received 2 gold bars in operations with numbers-prime or composite and operations with fractions-ordering fractions.

For each week you get 1000 points you get a bronze certificate.Every so weeks you move up certificates, first is the bronze cafe,then silver balcony and finally the gold computer.I have 2 bronze certificates.

At the begging of mathletics in class we go on live mathletics for 10 minutes. You play with students from all around the world.At first you get 5 points and then as you brake your records you get 10.There are levels you can go on levels 1,2,3,4,5.

Mathletics is a excellent way to get better at math and I think its a great website to use!
