On Tuesday 16th of November around 300 students from Pukekohe Intermediate School went to competitive athletics at the Growers stadium. The other around 300 stayed back at school doing fun and less competitive athletics.I went to competitive athletics. In athletics you compete in your age group, there are Junior girls & boys, Intermediate girls & boy and Senior girls 7 boys. The events there were shotput, discuss, long jump, high jump and 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meter sprints/run. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable day!
